Communication and Process

Communication will be solely through VGen direct messaging. After you have made your request...

 

Process as follows:

1. A proposal is presented with a price breakdown and a hard deadline

2. A sketch is provided within a week of payment

3. A flat colour version is shared for your feedback

4. The artwork is rendered to completion and sent for your approval

5. Final tweaks can be made if needed and shared online with your permission (Watermarked)

 

You can message for updates anytime, Kiwibon will be happy to provide a WIP during working hours Mon-Fri, GMT timezone. Communication must remain professional and on-topic.

 

​Revisions

As many revisions as you like during the sketch stage.

 

Once Kiwibon has continued the approved sketch and shared the flat colours, you can change: colour, small detail adjustments, hair/fur & facial features, but no longer the pose.

 

No drastic revisions after rendering has started except for small colour changes, the addition of tiny details and any design mistakes made by the artist.

 

Character references

Please provide at least one clear full body reference of your character(s). Kiwibon does not work without a reference and does not offer character design services at this time.

 

Artist's Interpretation

Kiwibon may interpret your character's colours and shapes in a way to fit their own style. Of course, if you are unsatisfied with the result, Kiwibon will try their best to compromise a vision both artist and customer can agree upon,

 

Payments

• No work to be started until payment is completed in full.

• Base prices are fixed and can not be haggled down.

 

Refunds

No refunds unless:

• The artwork cannot be completed.

• The artwork has not yet been started.

• A partial refund if the deadline has passed.

 

Deadlines and Delivery

Kiwibon requires a deadline of at least 14 days for any type of commission. Once a proposal has been submitted to you, a deadline will be provided, but artwork may be completed before this date. Delivery of full Artwork will have a deadline of no more than two months.

 

Kiwibon will notify of any unforseen issues which may result in the artwork not being delivered before the deadline.

 

Art is finished in digital .PNG format, and delivered via VGen and Google drive. As this commission is a digital artwork, no physical item will be shipped.

 

Refusal based on content

Requests containing Gore, political or racial bigotry, religion, genitals or anything of a sexual nature will be rejected.

 

Kiwibon may refuse requests that they feel uncomfortable with.

 

Customer usage

• Reposting on social media and blogging is OK. (credit not required, but appreciated)

• Printing for personal use and gifting is OK.

• Tracing and editing is OK.

• NO intended use for NFT or AI training.

• NO turning the artwork into a base or adoptable.

• Commercial usage rights are NOT included unless selected on the form.

 

Kiwibon's usage

• Will NOT be used for merchandise,

• Will NOT be edited without your knowledge.

• Rejected sketches (poses) may be repurposed into something new.

 

If given permission to share the commission:

• The artwork may be shared on social media.

• Displayed on Kiwibon.co.uk

• Recorded as a timelapse.

• Used to advertise future commissions.
